Communications for southern Alberta

Irrigated farmland, agri-food processing and wind and solar projects all shape the region around Lethbridge. A new project can involve landowners, irrigation districts, a county council and city residents at the same time. Data centre proposals have started to reach southern Alberta as well, and they bring questions about power, water and land use. Parts of the South Saskatchewan River Basin have been closed to new water licence applications since August 2006 (Alberta WaterPortal).

We plan engagement for each of those groups, prepare messages for local media and get spokespeople ready before a project goes public.
