A 2022 Alberta Photo Contest, developed by Next Evolution Ventures, was designed to spark province-wide dialogue around the question “What does it mean to be an Albertan?” The initiative invited photographers of all skill levels to share personal perspectives on identity, culture and belonging through photography and storytelling. Framed as a social impact campaign, the project aligned with broader equity and inclusion efforts and aimed to challenge provincial stereotypes while showcasing the diversity of lived experiences across Alberta.
reVerb Communications supported the early planning phase by developing a proposed communications tactics table, identifying sponsorship prospects and contributing to strategic planning meetings. Our work focused on building a strong foundation for outreach, sponsorship and public engagement through clear messaging and actionable communications strategies tailored to the campaign’s goals.
