Valley Line Southeast LRT - Train on the Tawatinâ Bridge - Edmonton, Alberta

Project Overview

The Valley Line Southeast LRT is a 13-kilometre urban light rail extension connecting Mill Woods to Downtown Edmonton. Delivered through a P3 model by TransEd Partners, the project required sustained public trust and consistent communication through years of construction in residential and high-traffic areas.

reVerb Communications was engaged to support TransEd and the City of Edmonton’s internal communications team. Our role focused on community-facing messaging, stakeholder engagement and construction-related communications. This included the development of comprehensive project communication materials—such as public information booklets, safety collateral and digital updates—along with ongoing coordination to manage expectations and respond to emerging issues.

Media relations formed a core part of our involvement throughout the project. reVerb supported media spokesperson duties, prepared statements, and coordinated media tours and events in collaboration with project partners. Operating in a high-visibility and politically sensitive environment, we provided responsive, aligned messaging to support field teams, maintain public confidence and keep stakeholders informed as milestones evolved.
